About Me

Welcome! I am a Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Economics at Florida International University.

I am currently on the 2025–2026 academic job market.

I am an applied microeconomist. My research focuses on development economics with a particular interest in policy evaluation, education and inequality.

My job market paper examines the effect of losing a cash transfer on educational and labor outcomes, as well as its impact on the division of labor in Ecuador. I am also studying the effect of receiving unconditional cash transfers on migration and family formation and the effect of elderly pensions on human capital.

I have taught Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, and Intermediate Microeconomics. In Spring 2026, I will also be teaching Measurement and Analysis in Economics and Urban Economics.
